Spring

It's five o'clock pm and the moon is visible out of my window, through the bare branches of several trees.

The sun is still up, too, which means that the moon is smack dab in the middle of a blue sky. It is a beautiful thing to finish work in the light.

Winter -- like any other wonderful pain -- is gone almost too quickly, but I'm not ready to miss it yet. For now, I'm panting for Spring and shorts, buds of green on the trees, and birds returning from the wintercold. This year it looks like we're going to have our fair share of bright mornings, wet days, and clear nights.

Next month, I'm marrying my truest love. And Spring is coming.
